To Go Low Or No?
Since this seems to be the season of the POLL I thought I would throw out another one.
What stance does your truck have? Slammed, Lowered, Raised, 60’s Rake, 50’s Gasser or Stock

Re: To Go Low Or No?
Well in the case of my '71 it was too clean to modify so I did a factory resto (guilt). My 63' was pretty rough so preserving it to it's original condition was optional I lowered and shaved it. It's up to you and what you are comfortable with. Later I picked up a '72 Cheyenne that I had planned on going crazy with but I sold it to buy a Buick that I was rather smitten with.

Re: To Go Low Or No?
I am surprised at the number of "60's Raked" numbers.
I would love to to see examples out there usinf this stance. Lowered is nice but some times it seems to be over-done.

Re: To Go Low Or No?
Mine is the stock rake. Personally if I lowered it 1 inch front an back I might like it better, but I also like tall tires. I have a stock stance with 30 inch tires. I may even go to 31's in the future. But like said its your truck and its what you can afford and you like. I did here that a lowered truck handles better.

Re: To Go Low Or No?
Stock is the only option for me. My whole point of having a pickup is for the hauling and height. I know a lot of you guys like to lower them, we each have our own tastes. My taste just prefers stock trucks.
