73 and up rear spare tire holder
Just wondering could you use a 73 and up rear swing out spare tire holder on a 69-72 Blazer? Has anybody attempted this? What modifications did you have to do this to get this this to work? Thanks

Re: 73 and up rear spare tire holder
I ran one for a while. It bolted to the passenger side wheel tub. Problem was that it held the tire parallel to the bedside so you couldn't install your back seat. Also had to put a hole in my floor, wheel tub, and inner bedside upper rail to mount it.
Sorry. I just noticed you are talking about a rear swing away carrier. Never tried to use one of those. Last edited by cleszkie; 05-09-2014 at 07:30 PM. Reason: New info |
