Column color with wood steering wheel?
What do you guys think? I'd love some photos as well.
I love the wood steering wheels with the blue bowtie centers - but my truck is green with no other wood. What color should I paint the column? |

Re: Column color with wood steering wheel?
Black would probably look the best?

Re: Column color with wood steering wheel?
If you are going with the stock green interior there will be about 5-6 shades of green inside. I'd just keep the column the stock green color (ditzler# 42850) and put your wood wheel on it. For a small custom touch you could make a green bowtie horncap. Or go with a vette style leather wheel with brushed spokes and a dark green leather.

Re: Column color with wood steering wheel?
Like this (saddle OEM column with "wood" wheel)? This style wheel is my favorite after the stock wheel. Soon I'm swapping in a tilt column painted saddle and adding a stock saddle wheel.

Re: Column color with wood steering wheel?
That saddle/green combo looks nice...breaks up all the green.

Re: Column color with wood steering wheel?
Thanks - The "pleather" look of saddle has really grown on me. I'd like a black truck with a saddle interior someday.
