Headers or exhaust manifolds
Ok guys I have a bagged 72 C10 with cupped lower control arms and 2in drop spindles so my issue here would be I tried a set of long tube headers and they are almost hitting the ground so I was wondering if y'all think a set of factory rams horn manifolds would work better for my application?

Re: Headers or exhaust manifolds
What do you have motor wise? A stock 283 would have different needs than a built motor.

Re: Headers or exhaust manifolds
Manifolds or a pair of shortie headers will work better.

Re: Headers or exhaust manifolds
If you want compact *and* power you'll need to spend a bit. If you just want good looks and the raspy sound headers generate you can get a set of block huggers for under $300 (less if you don't want ceramic finish.)
If you want quality, tuned headers that tuck up tight you'll probably need Thorleys or a custom bending job.

Re: Headers or exhaust manifolds
If you don't want shorties, 2nd gen Camaro long tubes fit well on a truck in most all instances.

Re: Headers or exhaust manifolds
Go with shorties... Great sound with the extra clearance...
