Anyone ever seen a manual steering box on a sqaure?
I just wondering if there was a manual steering box option for a square? or a reasonably priced aftermarket one? If so what was the part number or years/trucks they came in so I can get one for my 8/6 dropped 84 custom deluxe? It's already a total stripper truck and I prefer manual steering over power. Thanks

Have one on my 73.
They're not real common out here.

One on my 1/2 ton 77 and one on my 3/4 ton 84. Look for 6 cylinder trucks.

I pulled one from an 80 truck with a 6 cylinder and a 3 on the tree. I sold it to a member here.

I've seen two go through our local pick n pull yard. Both were 6 cyl manual trucks. One was a 74 and the other an 80.

That's the thing I have to rely on craigslist or other online sources as very few of the yards around here keep these trucks if they get them. All the others I've already scoured and they were all power steering trucks. I'll find one eventually.
