17X9.5 Front wheels

Has anyone run 9.5 on the front. I got a killer deal on 17x9.5 torque thrust wheels. The back spacing is 5.5. My original plan was to do 17x8 on the front and 18x10 on the back but I could not pass up this deal. At 85 bucks a piece for 2 I figured I would give it a shot. I looked through the wheels thread and I could not find any 9.5 for front wheels. I am getting ready to order the back wheels but I dont want to end up with two sets of back wheels since I am not sure if theses will work on the front. I was thinking about running a 275/50/17 up front. I would put the wheel on and see what it looks like but my whole front end is torn apart right now due to me doing the front disc brake conversion. Need some help here guys.

Is the truck lowered? If you have drop spindles, they won't work unless you have 1/2" spacers.

Yes the truck has 3" drop spindles. Could you be more specific about how it will not work? Is it going to rub the inner fender or hit the chassis while turning or rub the outer fender?

I run 17x8 with a 4.5 in backspace in my 67 which brings the sidewalls flush with the outer lip on the fenders. I think the backspace on those wheels will be a problem.

I dont mind if they stick out about 1/2 to 1/4 outside the fender but anymore that that will bother me. What size are your back wheels?
