Best way to get rid of minor scratches on OG paint
So I'd like to detail my 77 short bed original paint.
Would a color sand and buff take out most of the minor scratches? Thanks fellas |

You are going to need to be careful with that old of factory paint. It may too thin to wet sand and polish out. If you do choose to sand, then I would use a very fine sand paper and buff carefully. What experience do you have with buffing out paint? If the experience is limited, then consider getting a body shop to do it.

light as possible and build up from there. I would also stay away from wet sand and buff.
Use a DA polisher and a quality compound. Meguiars 205,105 or 100 I would suggest with a DA polisher. That will do wonders |

Thanks fellas, and yes I'm not experienced with this. I was going to have a gentlemen from a local body shop do it for me
