How to mount Firestone 9000 bags?????????????????

I have Firestone 9000 bags for the rear. My question is do I need to make a round bracket to fit up in the bottom or do I just use a flat plate? If I use a flat plate will the bag collapse all the way?

You will want to use a flat plate, and the bag will still collapse and work as intended.
