Love the color, you wouldnt happen to have any underside shots in that collection of pics? I need to see what the area around the back door pillar is supposed to look like.

Door Cap!
Where did you get this door cap? Did it come with your blazer? I need a pair and can't find one anywhere!!!!---Also I may have that trim piece you need. I took the old trim off my blazer to redo it all and it was in pretty good shape. I will send you a pic if you want.

I just looked at all 273 pics. (I work for an ISP, so speed isn't an issue) What great documentation. I am inspired.

1970blazin,as Gee_Emm said those door caps are not being reproduced.I got them from a guy on this board, kilomanjaro is his screen name.He seems to have alot of odd stuff like that.I think he wants in the neibourhood of $40 buck for a pair if he has them.
Thanks for the trim offer but I was able to find the piece I needed from a board member on www.coloradok5.com Best of all it was free! The $1000.00 was for the body materials and paint.I paid a guy I work with $750.00 to pull the dents, replace the rockers and spray the truck for me. All in all total cost would be around the 3k mark. Gee_Emm here's a pic for you, hope it's the one you need.

Got it on E-Bay.$125.00 for 70sqft.
Do a search with "brown bread" in it and it should come up. The stuff works great. Here is a link to the post I made about it. click here

Bobby K
Do you know what the door cap purpose is?? Does it stop some sort of leak? I have a plastic piece that sits on top of the door, but not as big as yours, and yours looks like it is a rubber weatherstripping sort of piece? Yes? I guess I am asking if it is something I definately need to have on there or not? I have a real original blazer I am restoring and it didn't have these...- I will try to contact Kilomanjaro for a pair. Thanks for the reply.

It's both a cosmetic and functional piece. It deflects water away and also hides the ugly cut that is made to the truck door to make it a Blazer door.
The vent window cap is a plastic piece, they crack easily.
