hate rebuying parts
put in all new suspension. TOok it all back out about 50 miles later to do a frame off. Putting the suspension back together and cant tighten the pitman arm nut. dang threads are beat up. Not sure if it was when I was taking it apart, putting it together or transferring it around the shop.
beat, clamped, cussed and pleaded and couldn't recut the threads good enough to tighten it. in any case, another $69 down the tube New one tightened right up. probably shouldnt beat on the parts when breaking them loose... |

Re: hate rebuying parts
for me it's not just rebuying parts but redoing things that didnt turn out rite the first time.
because of this I've learned too go super duper slow on what ever i'm working on. it gives me the time too think about doin it correctly....awe who am i kidding i still screw things up.

Re: hate rebuying parts
that sucks, i've had my fair share of mishaps but my worst are throwing away parts i'm going to replace before I replace them. It's always the part I swore I didn't need that I needed measurements or something from.
