Hickey or Con-ferr style front axle truss

Old school Hickey or Con-Ferr style. Made in USA using all US made grade 8 yellow zinc hardware and US made hot rolled steel (not the softer cold steel). 3/4" rod, 1/2" and 3/4" plate. This will keep your axle tubes in place and will look great doing it, won't bend easy on rocks like an original. Chassis satin black powder coating. $225 Shipped to the continental 48. Postal MO or No Fee Paypal.

A complete hardware kit is available separately for rebuilding your original front truss.

Grade 8 Hardware kit contains 2-grade 8 u-bolts with nuts and washers, 2-truss end nuts and washers $50 Shipped to the continental 48

I emailed hickey and they still make the trusses. $300 for the front ,$350 for the rear and if you order both they will sell for $600.

Do you have their contact info? Just wondering if it's Midunes you are talking bout. Hickey stopped making parts decades ago and this guy had started back up with reproducing many items...then went off the radar. People have wondered what happened. Still wondering. So, who exactly did you talk to is what I wonder, him or now some other Hickey

how long ago? he's been dodging me for a couple years now! total dead air. i thought we had a good thing going. a lot of the stuff he reproduced, i supplied him originals to copy. couple years back i sent this 73-87 "cadilac carrier" hickey double swinging carrier for k5's to repro. been waiting 2 years for carrier back and front 44 diff cover, nothing. ebay "efromthed" seamed to be x-wife and she was no help!. more annoyed than anything. if anybody talks to him, let him know that I'm bummed i trusted him. just want my stuff back. thanks, glen
heres some pics of carrier.

dantip, i still have your hickey stuff in storage from a few years back. tried emailing you back. pm me if you want.

Eric is the guy behind the Hickey Enterprises revival but he has been MIA for several years. If he is back at work then that is good news.

I agree. He was not to be found anywhere, including Ebay. There had been a lot of people looking for him. I wonder why he isn't back on here. He was selling a lot of stuff. He would give us previews on products in development to check interest.

Re: Hickey or Con-ferr style front axle truss

Maybe whatever happened got better. Or maybe you need someone else to get a hold of him, or his wife. Might need someone he won't connect to you. I thought I remembered there was more to the story than just not selling here. Is he now producing the rack you sacrificed your original to (unknowingly and hopefully yet to be returned)?
