Pics of Original Paint Short Beds
I love the look of original paint cars/trucks. Just seeing if this hasn't been done in the past. I'd love to see some original paint shorty's
Here is mine 77' Custom Deluxe 77K original miles/original paint Just had her color sanded down and buffed out, dropped 4/5, and had my ding guy come and remove most of the dings (Came out great) Next, I'm going to replace the front bumper and cut off the chrome exhaust tips. Then I'm done |

Re: Pics of Original Paint Short Beds
Thank you for the kind words fellas, and keep the pics coming!
80Sport I've never been a fan of step sides, but man that orange one is sharp! Actually, all of those trucks are sharp! I think you've changed my mind about step sides Last edited by murguia; 06-07-2014 at 08:49 PM. |

Re: Pics of Original Paint Short Beds
I've posted some of these pictures in the past, but now she's almost done! Just a couple of minor touches. The pain is in nice condition for being original, don't get me wrong there are some nicks and little scratches here and there but I love the character of the truck. The color sand/buff let some of the original primer come through on the sharp edges and I love the look.

This one is about as original as it gets, paint, interior, chrome, running gear, etc.

The 20's were Intro Vistas. The interior was a time capsule.

I'm really liking that Buckskin' 78, what size tires/rims? What does a wheel setup like that run? |

They were 18x8 and 18x10 Torq Thrust 2's. I think it was 255/55 fronts and 275/60/18's. I bought the front wheels and tires used here on the board from classic87 . they were basically new. A friend ordered the rears new for me at cost. I probably had less than $1300 in them but they would cost much more now. That was a few years ago. The truck rode like a car. Frank
