Guys running factory A/C - need help
Can somebody take a picture of their factory compressor and hose assembly and post it? Preferably from a late 70's model.
My '78 has a factory diesel and for some reason I cannot locate the correct hose/drier assembly. All the ones on rock auto and Napa have the drier on the opposite side as mine. Maybe a pic will help clarify all of this. I'll take one of my set up as well. Thanks!

Re: Guys running factory A/C - need help
I replaced most of the factory AC parts on a 1976 Chevy Silverado about 10 years ago. It's been so long ago I can't remember the details, but I know I couldn't find the exact same drier that was on it from the factory so I used the newer style. I also replaced the lines, but I can't remember if it was because they wouldn't work with the drier or they were just old. It seems like there was something different about the way the line hooked up to the drier.
