Bed Wood
Have any of you used the finish EZ Rub Fortified Penetrating Oil Finish and EZ Seal & Shine BedWood Finish Kit sold by BedWood And Parts? I really do not know the difference between the finish products they sell. I was going to use Sikkens Translucent stain because a friend uses this on his deck and says that it lasts for several years before he has to redo it. I figure if his deck can withstand the North Carolina summers (hot and humid) and winters (cold, snow and ice) for 5 years my garage kept truck bed finish will last four times that long. Any thoughts? BTW the BedWood kit seems a lit overpriced.

Re: Bed Wood
I have not gotten to this point yet. That is why I was asking opinions.

Re: Bed Wood
My truck is red so I took the base coat paint thinned a lot and rubbed it on with a rag then used automotive clear (made for wood as well) and put 7-10 coats of clear over it. Looks great and should last a long time.
