Serious brain fart or the heat....V-belt install?
I've done this before and for some reason am having a blank spot when trying to loop my V-belt around the fan, around/behind the crank pulley and then up and over the alternator. Every time I go into it I seem to be blocked by the crank pulley's belt.
Someone get me a water! Disregard, I didn't realize I had to loosen up the power steering pump. I thought there was a quicker way, but evidently not. Last edited by AJLChase; 06-18-2014 at 05:12 PM. |

Re: Serious brain fart or the heat....V-belt install?
Maybe I'm an idiot, but is it possible to change the rearmost belt without removing the front belt? Say your Power Steering is in the front groove and the alternator is in the rear groove, is there some fancy technique that lets you change alternator belt without removing the PS belt in front of it?
