nice old Cheyenne Custom Camper on ebay

Well, you may already know I have a thing for Custom Campers... So, GOTTA share. Not mine, don't know seller (it's a dealer) - but I like med bronze, and I love Custom Campers .... And I LOVE trucks like this - appears very original and fairly untouched - it's not perfect, nice hood patina, dang, just a nice old original piece of history. Stuff like this won't always be around. Enjoy.

Too bad he cut the roof and put a sunroof in it though. Other than that & a little rust it's a pretty sweet truck.

Nice truck, I think the camper shell has a window in roof not the truck.

Wow! its great to see a true survivor like that, he really took very good care of it and just added a few personal touches for his own comfort. it shows they're still out there hidden away in someones garage or barn, great to see...

The listing specifily mentions the "headliner" being a bit loose. So no sunroof. Great looking truck!

and unlike a lot of ebay listings, the seller took great pictures including blemishes, SPID, Title, and is representing the truck honestly. I drink my morning coffee checking out 69-72 trucks every day. I have to say I've become frustrated with misrepresentations like "all original", "untouched", and "Cheyenne Super". Very nice truck, I hope it finds a good home with one of our board members.

That truck needs to be pulled out of salt country and given a clean environment. There are some minor corrosion issues, but it is nice to see an unrestored beauty like this one. I am not sure but the engine does not appear to be "chevy" orange so maybe its had a rebuild in its past? Hopefully the reserve is not silly high and someone can get this truck at a reasonable price.

This is my truck. It does not have a sunroof in the truck. The sunroof is in the topper. The motor has not been rebuilt, just the timing chain put in it. Still original factory paint on the motor, just faded with time. Overall, this is a pretty nice, 42 year old truck. The reserve is less than $7,000, which I don't believe is asking to much for a nice, original truck. Thanks for the comments & compliments! Hope one of you gets it!

I paid $6500 for mine (see my build thread for how it started). That was with no rust, a big block, AC, and bucket seats. And a Sierra Grande.

Mine was the 133wb though, which changes the value (which way I don't know).

That is a nice original truck for sure. Its the way I like to find them as well....original, unmolested (for the better part) with a few blemishes.
They always end up as better long term candidates for just about everything than the home built, repaint jobs in my opinion.
It will be interesting what it bids to......hmmm, $5400?, its still a good deal now at the $3000 range.
