orange and black trucks

been considering a blue and grey paint job for my 70 but today i saw a hugger orange camaro that may have changed my mind. so i searched up some threads and found two trucks that had two tone orage and black, one being chip fooses truck that was restored, i didnt really see any good closeups of it, and the other being as 60-66 stepper that had black on bottom with orange on top. i was wondering if anyone had pics of a 67-72 with the orange and black two tone. i like the really deep bright oranges. so i was thinking maybe a hugger orange bottom and black roof on my 70, with maybe a metallic grey strip separating the two. the problem im facing is that most pictures i see is that trucks have the trim pieces going down the side, my 70 doesnt have any of that, and im not going to add it, i think the trim looks gawdy. just looking for opinions and pictures, maybe some photoshops

Re: orange and black trucks

Here's a couple of my 72 Red/Orange stepper. A little redder than hugger, but when it's sitting next to a red truck it really looks deep orange.

Mines only Hugger, no black but it might give you an idea. The color is modified a little.

Re: orange and black trucks

OK, another combination to consider, white over orange. Originally white/hugger orange/ white (one repaint covered the lower portion orange instead of white. I pointed that out to my father-in-law, who owned it at the time- 1984 or thereabouts), he got the paint job cheap, so he didn't care. If I get to a repaint before I die, I'll make it right.
