Important info for Blazer owners

I was under the impression that doublewall and singlewall hardtops had the same bolt pattern, but after getting my doublewall (almost free), I found that it wasn't true. I was a little confused why GM made two different tops in the first place, but I am dumbfounded after the revalation of two different bolt patterns.

I thought that there were board members that had both tops, did you guys modify one of them?

I think that 1970blazin just switched from a double to single wall. You might ask him if he had any problems. What year Blazer are you putting it on and what year is the new top off of?

I wouldn't think so, but could it be a Blazer/Jimmy issue?

I have a double wall top and two set's of mounting holes, one for the single wall top (has thread boses in bed rail) and what appear's to be drilled holes also.. The double wall top would not bolt threw the boses in the bed rail and the thread boses in the top, would it???

I know my Blazer's bedrail has 2 sets of holes. One set that's threaded for the single walled top and one set of just holes for the double walled top.

The holes with the rust and primer are the threaded holes.

My truck is already painted so I modified the top instead of drilling into the bedsides. The bolts thread just fine going up through the double wall, or going down into the singlewall (if I had one).
