Write up I promised on the paint and rust eater by TP
TPtools. Back in Feb., I made a post about how I had bought a rust and paint eater by TP tools and had asked if anyone else had one. The main reason for getting one is the tar based undercoating on the cabs and underneath the inner fenders and cab floors and bed floors as well. The Chevelle guys rave about this type of tool for removing the undercoating it is some tuff stuff. Since I have three trucks going onto the rotissere I figured it would be worth my while to invest in one of those and I said once I put it on some undercoating I would share with my truck brethren. I placed the wire wheel on, it came with three wheels one paint remover[kinda like the 3M paint tool you put in a drill except on steroids]a stripe eraser[it looks like a big rubber wheel]and the wire brush it looks just like it sounds a big wire brush. I put my inner fender up on a stand and placed the facesheild down and turn it on that thing ate some under coat!I would say a 3x5 [index card sized]spot every ten to fifteen seconds it slings stuff every where! It is pretty loud and I had it on a lower speed it is planetary gearset controlled so it will really rev up if you crank on it. So far thumbs up from here. Jim

Too pricey for my use, but I still WANT one! That looks like a well thought out tool.
