I've read where a few guys have used them on here, some good experiences and some quality issues on others. I can't find any of those threads with the search feature however. I had several links, but lost all that when I switched computers.

I would rebuild mine But I wanted chrome and saw they make them complete and chroming now days is much too costly.

That's the way I went. Try to find a glass shop that works on these old trucks as they should be able to put it back together with the glass. After having mine chromed, new seals and installed by the shop I still had less into them then buying reproduction. I know that's not what you asked but thought I'd give you my two cents.

Ship them down to LA there is 4 or 5 shops down there. A lot cheaper then in are area. I used D&G.

I got a atainless steel version from Brothers. Shiny like chrome works good enough, and, they had it on sale for a real bargain when I bought it..

Any pics of the stainless? I really like the look of the stainless or Chrome vent windows. Just never pulled the trigger on them.

Here you go Chris....the finish looks the same on the inside too, but the latch appears to be chome like the original.

That's beautiful and seems to fit perfectly. Did you have any problems with the gaskets fitting the body, or did it just drop in place?

It was easy to put in, but at first the window itself was a p.i.a to close. I had to roll down the main window and give an "assist" from the outside because the weatherstrip was super snug. Now, however it's not so bad.
