I am thinking of buying one....??

What do ya thinK?
I emailed the guy and he said they could do the font like the original 67-72 dash cluster and in just about any color you would like. They go on ebay for about $150.00- does that seem like to much money?

That looks pretty cool! Who does this work, and are you saying that they'll take your gauge cluster and do that to it, or you get a whole new cluster?

The name of the company is dreamworkscustoms and I see a guy by the name of lowtoy454 (if I remember right) that is the seller on ebay. I am not sure if they can do your cluster or not. The add's all look the same, and they say they can set the mileage to anything you want and also do GMC dashes. They sell the whole dash cluster like you see in the above pic. I emailed him about getting a tach dash and how much would that be. Hopefully I will hear soon and post that price. I don't like the font on the one pictured above, but like I said the guy said he can do an original font. I just wonder if a custom order will go for the same amount as I see them go for on ebay (approx. 150.00)

Check this out first

Hey there, those gauges DO look nice but, check this ebay ad out first. I got this kit and it's pretty easy to install yourself. Not sure what you're looking for though. Just take a peek. If the ad isn't clear you can email me at TruckResQ@sbcglobal.net. If anyone else has dealt with this seller, maybe you can give some input as well.

Don't like the font either. How does this one differ from the this kit (http://durangedesign.dynip.com/index.htm) that sells for $22?

Hmmmmm...

Good question bouncytruck- those look the same as the cluster I was looking at. Maybe I can just buy this kit and it will look just as good?? What do you think? Same thing? I can't notice a difference-can you get the #'s in blue?

I have heard a few guys complain about the $22 kit. I think mostly it is because the guy was trying to peddle his wears for free on ColoradoK5.com (they don't let commercial vendors post items for sale with out paying a fee, although vendors can reply to an inquiry for parts). I'd say it might be worth the $22 to find out. Maybe try it on a scrap cluster before putting it on your good cluster.

The guys that complained...did they say the kit wasn't very good quality, or hard to do? I just really like the look, but don't want it to look cheap..you know?

The people that bought the $22 kit said that the quality wasn't that great and some even said that they could replicate the same kit in their home comp without paying the 22 bucks, as they said you get what you pay for.

I bought the ones from deranged design and I would say they are worth the money. They are made from vinyl and very easy to install. They could be removed later very easily. I pulled mine off 2-3 times while installing and they still stuck very well.

Sorry, Here you go....

Here is the link I forgot to place. The place is always selling thes on ebay. NOt show truck quality as others have said, but they do look nice in a nice daily drive, and may pass for some shows. I like mine. Yes, I thought I could print them myself also, but after getting the right paper and spending the time to do the designing, Just spend the 20 plus shipping.. Hope this help you as well as others thinking about this idea.
