Floor Mat Cleaning
My 1969 Chevrolet C10 Stepside truck has the original floor mat that is not worn. I have scrubbed it with a brush and soap-water solution. This has helped the appearance. Would it be okay to apply tire Armourall to improve the looks? Would there be some problem with this? Advise.

Re: Floor Mat Cleaning
I would not want my foot slipping when going for the brake.

Re: Floor Mat Cleaning
Thanks for the reply. I had already applied the ArmourAll prior to reading your comment...looks very good...never thought about the slick part and the brake pedal. As a result, I will probably remove the substance on the brake pedal surface only.

Re: Floor Mat Cleaning
Try some baby oil on the passenger side ,put a little on a rag and wipe on and wipe back off with another towel and see if it works for you .I use it on my stuff but you should make sure its not too slick on your passenger side first ,its not slick on mine .I use it on the vinyl seats ,door panels ,door weatherstrips ,dash and steering wheel .The trick for me is to use small amounts and wipe most back off .
