Is steering damper bushing sleeve needed Dana 60
I just put a dana 60 in my K20. There was no steering damper or hardware. I ordered a Skyjacker stabilizer and it came with bushing but no metal sleeve.
Is it supposed to be installed with a sleeve? Thanks, jeff |

Some have a tight fit of the bushing onto a bolt intended for mounting shocks. That's how my skyjacker stabilizers are.
If the mounting bolt are the same type as the above picture no sleeve is needed.

You should have gotten the bolt which will fit tight in the bushing, a 1'' spacer, which goes in between the shock and the mount and a stud for the tie rod end of the shock with a castle nut. Pics?

They sell skyjacker 9000 stabilizer with or without the hardware. I managed to order without the bolts. Now I need to try and buy bolts alone tomorrow. The kicker is they are the same price with or without the hardware.
