Sanderson makes a set that actually will fit without cutting your frame. Mine isn't an LS motor and I moved the stock trans cross member back to fit the overdrive, but you get the idea how things fit.

Thumbs up Re: Ls swap headers????

I did a 6.0 LS swap with stainless work headers with no mods. Just a little tweeking on passenger side frame rail. When you look at it it's impossible to see it.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Ls swap headers????

The Doug Thorley's seem to be very popular with the LS swaps. They fit really well and look nice.

Re: Ls swap headers????

Another vote for Doug Thorley's, POL tubular motor mounts and adapter plates, slid right in with no clearance issues at all.

Re: Ls swap headers????

As of now I will be using early classic mounts and trans crossmember. My factory exhaust manifold r cracked at welds. However what I am looking for is something nice, fairly cheap that will get the job done without turning into a hack job.

Re: Ls swap headers????

The main thing I don't like about long tube headers besides the cost is their only advantage in flow performance is seen above 6000 RPM typically and every one made the collectors hang down below the frame rails.

Having done many hot rods and my 2nd GMC truck I wanted the entire exhaust up inside the frame rails. New Camaro owners love installing long tube headers on their New car, so the LS3 OEM exhaust manifolds are every where used and Cheap. Mine came off a crate engine never used. The OEM 5.3 truck manifolds hit the frame rails on these old trucks, these 2013 Camaro LS3 manifolds tuck inside the frame rails, you use the stock Camaro head pipes cut-off in front of the cats, preserving the O2 sensor bungs. My exhaust is run where I want it, No clearance issues. The LS3 Camaro made in stock configuration 436 HP with these manifolds. I'm happy, just my two cents
