Frame selection c10 69

Hey everyone. I have a 69 short bed that I'm looking to start gathering parts for. My initial thought was to use a 88-98 2wd frame and put my body on it. But I got to reading and some had not suggested it. So my question is, do I just build my 69 frame? Or do You guys suggest a 73-87 frame?

Build your 69 frame there isn't any advantage using a 73-87 frame the disc brakes can be swapped to you frame.

69 frame all the way. You can get more aftermarket goodies to go any way you want with it from super handling to air ride than any other frame and it all bolts in.

Re: Frame selection c10 69

Ok so I'm going to stay with the factory frame. Any weakness that I need to address? I'm looking at either a built bbc that I have or finding a ls drive train to put in it.
