If it has a left side at all you should be fine at $500. Good luck and enjoy.I know for a lot of people the thrill is in the hunt for them. Jim

Re: Found this '69 Chevy
I'd love to get it, and clean it up
No one seems to be home ever I am going to leave a note in the Mail box to see if they'd like to sell

Re: Found this '69 Chevy
Just take it, they'll never notice it gone. LOL
I hate trying to deal with people that are never home but do the right thing and leave a note. You could also look up their phone number by noting the address and heading over to the court house. You might be able to find out their name that way by looking at property deeds. Then check the phone book. Ask their neighbors for whatever they can tell you on them. Patient and persistent and ALWAYS be polite. |

Re: Found this '69 Chevy
Good luck with the $500, in Illinois thats worth a lot more. Im sure the answer is gonna be "I'm gonna fix it ip someday." I bought a 71 c20 with the camper on it and found a perfect take off tailgate in the camper.

No. You'll end up with a yard full of projects and no money or time for all or any of them... leave it be and focus on the '59.

Re: Found this '69 Chevy
Well,I guess this thread might amount to something if you ever talk to the owners and anything comes of it. Let us know. Just curious,is that a public road you're on?

Re: Found this '69 Chevy
It is actually their driveway, someone told me she won't sell I hope she would to me ...doubt it though
It has sat there for many of years, it looks to be in decent condition from just sitting there..I am sure the bed is in pristine condition I am trying to hard to focus on my '59 but its hard when there is so much to do I also like the 67-72's more. I may buy my old 71 that I had back when I get the money if I don't end up buying this
