Anyone know how they do the pipe into G8/Camaro Ex. manifolds?

Got some G8 Ex. manifolds, with no pipe stubs. Anyone know how the fit to the pipes works? Pipe an rings? flanges? do I gotta find factory stuff? Any help is appreciated!

I used a set of Patriot H7265 flanges - they're pretty cheap, and bolted right up!

Thanks Matt, and I'm hip with the flanges, but what do you do with the pipe itself? is it flared? Pipe and ring? I don't know what to do. What thread are the 02 sensors?

You can buy O2 bungs to weld in the pipe, theyre the same thread as the big spark plugs, I have a thread chaser I use after welding them in. As for the gaskets, they are a small ring if I remember correctly. I have never had much luck keeping them from leaking. I make my own flanges and get a donut gasket that will fit the hole on the manifold, then get some pipe from the muffler shop, have them flare the end to match the donut, slide the flange over that and tighten. This gives you some wiggle room with pipe angles that bolting the flange and pipe straight to the manifold does not.

Flat gaskets.

18 mm. I welded O2 sensor bungs into the exhaust pipes.

I never had luck getting the flat gaskets to seal when we laser cut some flanges, ended up using those "crush" type gaskets with better luck...

next time I'm just welding on v-bands.
