ECE drop spindles, 15x 8 rim rubs control arm
Just installed 2.5" ECE drop spindles on my 72' c10 2 wheel drive and when I installed my 15" x 8" rally it hits the lower control arm.
My question is there a wheel spacer available so it won't rub on the control arm or should i try something else. Thanks |

Or trim the lower a-arm "gutter".
This is a known issue with 15" wheels with more than a 3.5" backspacing. Lots of threads about it on this forum.

Is this gonna be an issue with my porterbuilt control arms and ece modular spindles?

You definitely have more clearance with Porterbuilt a-arms than you do stock a-arms. I have had a set of 15x7 truck rally wheels (3.625" BS),... with a set of RideTech a-arms with no clearance issues. Porterbuilt arms should clear as well.

Re: ECE drop spindles, 15x 8 rim rubs control arm
They are the stock 6 lug rally wheels I'm pretty sure 8" wide.
They hit the fenders when fully deflated so I ordered ece modular spindles thinking I could squeeze them under the fender. I hope I didn't order something for nothing. |

CPP is the only company that sells the 2" drop modular spindles.
