I got a question about transmission humps. what type of trucks used the tall humps was it just manual transmission and 4x4s. where they ever used on a 2wd big block auto.

Re: Transmission hump

I believe the bolt-in high humps were 4x4 and big block only.

My original 69 3/4 ton 2WD with 350 and TH400 has a low hump also.

Re: Transmission hump

Scored a '72 Custom 20 with a rotted cab (I think I can lift the roof section off by hand!), but a nice high hump section. This will go into the '70 C10 T5/TPI set-up rather nicely.
