RE: Shipping info help

I need to ship an engine and trans from IL to NJ. I was wondering if anyone could provide some information on a shipping company they may be familar with that I could use for this.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks

The cheapest way to ship something like that is Greyhound bus.
If you could tear it down, it may fit under the bus. I just shipped a one piece roof rack by them and it saved me over 150.00!

Greyhound is great. My parents shipped me a dresser via greyhound. It cost $45. Freight company wanted over $100 and the moving companys wanted over $300! The down side is the recipient has to pick up the package at the station.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't know greyhound shipped things. The motor is only a short block, and the trans is separate turbo 350. Any idea if they will ship something of that size/weight?

Thanks again.
