Class 3 hitch
I was on the Reese website looking at the class three hitch and I'm not sure what's right for my truck it's a 79 with the 8 foot bed and a regular rear bumper. I saw an option for drop bumper does that mean a stock bumper with the rear step or a big drop bumper

I put one on my truck not long ago. It's a Draw Tite, part no. 75034.

Re: Class 3 hitch
Get the B&W hitch that was linked to above. I put one on my truck as I do lots of pulling of heavy equipment or trailers (farm use) which jerk back and forth when pulling. I didnt want the hitch to fail on me. It says no drilling, but you do need to drill a hole in the frame for the middle mount on each side.

Re: Class 3 hitch
I just put a B&W hitch on last week, and I didn't need to drill anything, all the holes lined up.
I can't tell you anything about the fit with the bumper, though, because my bumper is screwed up from bottom to top. The previous owner put on a body lift, and hacked the bumper mounts and re-welded them to match up with the body again.
