3 1/8" Gauge in 3 3/8" Gauge Hole?

Trying to change out the dash and gauges on my 82 and somehow wound up with an autometer 3 1/8" (3 9/64" hole) tach and speedo. The dash panel I'm looking at comes predrilled for 3 3/8" gauges (3 11/32" hole). Cant seem to find a reasonable solution for a ring spacer and thinking if I wrap it in 100 mph tape it might cause problems later when its 900 degrees in the sun. Wondering if someone has an idea or source for an adaptor.

TIA!
