drive shaft lenght
Can someone that has a v8 with a 700r4 and a one piece shaft measure your drive shaft for me? Ujoint Center center will be fine. I have not dropped my engine and tranny in yet and I have an opportunity to purchase a one piece shaf but need to know if the length is correct.

Just measure it yourself, there are so many different combos and such. measure from your slip yoke and put it to the deepest part of your rear u-joint catch where your u joint will sit. But i can honestly say there is not really a set length for driveshafts for our trucks from being longbeds,shortbed, stickshift or auto, 6 cylinder and v8 to 4x4,2x4 and every thing in between.

to get one driveshaft the first time measure it twice to make sure then one more time before you order it
