LILTRK cummins swap
So im thinking of doing a cummins swap in one of my 88-98 trucks or suburban. Any help, ideas, or warnings would be appreciated. Right now I think its going in my 1500 regular cab short bed. Its coming out of a 90 D250. Non intercooled. Only 118k miles. My hope is to tune it in such a way that I can get close to 30 mpg in a full size truck. Right now the cost on this oroject is minimal, and hopefully I can keep it that way :-)

Re: LILTRK cummins swap
Autoworld in Great Falls MT has a kit for that body style of trucks. A buddy of mine did a 98 ccsb 3/4 and their kit was awesome and reasonable. Tells you what to modify and what parts you need. He had a whole 94 dodge 5 spd for the swap and it went pretty flawless, wiring and all.
