Replacing 1967 C50 wheel studs?
Anybody know where to find them and how they are removed from the front and rear? Is it too hard to do myself?

Re: Replacing 1967 C50 wheel studs?
I had to do a front one on my c60. actually pretty easy. pound out or use a good air hammer. I was able to install the new one with the wheel on, through the hand hole, and tighten it into place by torquing the lug nut down

Be careful on trying to pull the stud in with the lug nut. You may overtorque the nut. It is best to press them in.

I have always pulled them in with the nut just dont use a impact or cheater bar. frequently check that the head is seated then torque to proper specs.

I did strip one. that was when I was using a torque multiplier, it took about 400 foot lbs to strip it with a 60x torque multplier.
