Selling a truck overseas?
I just sold my '87 on eBay with the buy it now, but it's going overseas to
Doha. Has anyone ever dealt with an overseas transaction? They instantly paid the deposit and called me, so I'm guessing its for real?

Re: Selling a truck overseas?
Sold quite a few overseas to Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
As long as the title is good, it's a snap. My buyers would wire the money to my home branch. Truck or car didn't move until then. A bill of sale for exact amount, title and keys went in the truck. On a flatbed and off to the dock where their shipping broker who handled the customs paper work for them. 6 weeks later, they had their truck. Feel free to PM me if you need any help. |

Re: Selling a truck overseas?
To add to this. a lot of states are going to a federal registration program where DMVs can look up a VIN registered in any state. If the truck ever makes it back to the US and someone tries to register it, your name might show up as the last registered owner.
Bottom line, I would keep the receipt the shipping company gives you, indefinetly
