Re: added white gauge sticker to my cluster...

is that just the gauge covers or the clear plastic cover as well.
My white gauges look good. The new plastic sucks. They give huge clear decals that are impossible to get all the goo out of and leave spots. debating what Im going to do about it.

That looks awesome! I always dug the white-faced gauges.

Re: added white gauge sticker to my cluster...

I've seen the kits for them but I have never taken the plunge yet as that I'm still contemplating my overall build options and plans.

I like the entire look. Did you do the woodgrain and paint? Haven't seen any white decals for sale. Where did you get them.

Thanks for posting the web site. I looked at you build thread and how did you do the wood grain? I don’t have the gages like you do.

Re: added white gauge sticker to my cluster...

I went to a local sign company with my clear lens and he matched the numbers and words, if you go this route make sure they reverse the lettering and they use a solid color vinyl. Not all sticker vinyl is a solid color the whole way through......I think the guy charged me 10 bucks and he made me two set just in case I screwed up the first one. I painted the gauges with this reflective white paint and I used blue paint and did the line work freehand. It helps to have an extra clear lens......lay the blank one overtop the old one and you have a template to put your stickers on.
