Starting at port 110 Mark shows how he adapted a cable throttle pedal from a 71 - 72 C10.

Re: throttle pedal and cable for 65 c10?

I went to pick n pull and yanked the pedal assembly and cable from a late 70-early 80's ish chevy.

I used the post referenced above to aid on the changeover, though on my 66 things lined up a smidge different.

If you go the junkyard route, make sure to also nab the bracket that holds the carb side of the cable, the one I have bolted to the intake manifild, looks like it also has a spot for a kickdown levercable/whatever to mount, but mine is a manual tranny.

I did the gas pedal changeover plus reinstalled my MIP floor mat correctly ( PO had done a horriblr job, totally misaligned) and installed retracting seat belts for deiver and passenger, then mounted 2 old belts in middle so kids could have belts, and it took a total of about 7 hours for all 3 projects.
