Productive weekend
Since I was unable to sell the 66 GMC 3/4 ton long bed I bought as a complete truck or as parts and since I had a 63 short bed C10 chassis thought I would swap everything over
Stripped the 63 chassis down to be sand blasted got it back and tore down the 3/4 ton long bed suspension down swapped front over then the rearend with leaf springs and mounts then set the cab on this afternoon (alot of work by yourself) ...You guys ever seen a 3/4 ton shortbed??? |

No, but I think I see a guy that could probably use another trailer...

Re: Productive weekend
Measure, measure and measure again. The beds are longer on both ends front and back. Going to be a lot of work. A set of bed sides would make your life much easier. If the bed sides you have are rust free I may be able to move them for you.

Re: Productive weekend
I have 2 fleetside shortbeds just didn't want to use them for this
project. But could use them for reference. The longbed sides are pretty rough so cutting them isn't a big deal |
