sometimes it pays to be at the yearly swap meet at closing ended up with this a/c setup along with a bunch of 60-66 sheetmetal anyhow not sure what it belongs to or how much it's worth I don't really have any use for it any of you have any ideas? Thanks

Aftermarket I would guess. GM had the A6 compressor in 62 or 63...GM never used that style of compressor to my knowledge. Could have been dealer installed possibly but pretty sure not factory.

When I first went to work in a car dealer in the late 70's those were very popular around here. You would get the base kit and then the bracket and pulley kit for what ever you were working on. As more and more cars came with AC they started to fade away. Can still find one in the junk yards that have older cars and at the swap meets. They are all old R12 systems and sell around here for a couple of hundred bucks in nice shape.

What would this Harrison model be worth? It has a crack on the plastic housing but all parts are there. It was a factory install from a 66' GMC 1-ton

That York compressor would be a choice piece on a bagged truck/car that folks wanted it to look sort of "stock" since those compressors are from that era.

They make good belt driven compressors for air bagged vehicles, opposed to full electric compressors.
