Score!
Went to visit an old friend today. We were wondering through his boneyard when we stumbled upon a set of buddy buckets. He's gonna pull them and have them ready for me. He gave me a hood that is perfect too. The truck they came from is a 67 gmc custom long bed. The side molding is all there too! I'm so excited. I've walked through there ten times and never noticed those seats......
They are red and white, they need reupholstered but that's to be expected. What do y'all think it will cost to get them reupholstered? |

Re: Score!
I asked that question once of my local shop. They said:
"You will be looking at if needing foam and jute around $750.00 to $800.00 depending on how much foam." I bought my own foam and went elsewhere, and it was less, but the foam's not cheap for regular buckets. Not sure what it's like for buddy buckets.

Re: Score!
Well here they are! Box is pretty good shape and all in all in decent shape. Obviously they need new foam but that's expected.

Woodnears
I think that there is another piece that goes behind the center section attached to the tank It helps to hold up the lid to the box up. You might want to ask your friend to grab it for you

Re: Score!
Yeah get the bracket under the rear window if you can.
I'm waiting on a quote back to get my BB redone.

Re: Score!
Got it! The drivers seat had been replaced by another seat. The original was still in the truck though.the 4 prices that have two 90 degree bends in the aren't there but I can reproduce those fairly easily.
