new member with questions

Hi all i wanted to introduce myself! I'm Jeff I live in SoCal I just bought a 1964 short bed fleetside c-10 with a 4spd muncie. I haven't built a truck yet mostly camaro's nova's and chevelle's. You can see my latest build in youtube just search 1nxjeff
anyways I have a 79 1/2 ton original owner that I want to take parts off. I have spoke with captainfab..thanks John but had some more questions
Will a 79 gas tank work on a 64?
what about window regulator or tracks?
how low can I drop front and rear without bags but still be drivable?
anyone have experience with DJM 3' drop spindles I have them for the 79 but will put onto the front clip of the 79.
Thats it sorry so post is long, but I don't hesitate to tart a build

Re: new member with questions

Fuel tank should work fine...specially if its a frame mount. Fab a set of brackets and you should be fine. On the drop note..I think 4 or 6 inches is the limit without bags or C-notch. I'm not a lowering or bagging type of guy so I don't know much about it. lol Welcome aboard by the way! And I do hope for some pictures of that truck. Pictures= Proof.
