Dana 60 rear diff

How hard is it to put a Dana60 convert it to 5 lug and put it in a 1970 short C10??

If you figure out the splining it's not very hard. You will have to cut the end housings off and then make it what ever length you want. Next you will weld on ford 9" housing ends. You can get them from summit or jegs for around $100. Then you will use ford bearings and ford axles. I am in the process of doing this to a dana 80. I am having a shop that narrows rearends do it.

The Dana 60 is out of a 72 3/4ton Chevy, hard to change from coil ti leaf springs, or should I just use coils?

It depends on your preference. Cpp makes a relocation kit so you can change the leaf to coils. I'm not sure about changing it from coil to leaf though
