Here's my new project. Expect to see air ride in the near future and paint next spring. The rims are most definitely gone. Just got my boss 338s. Just waiting ontires.

Yes the styling is pretty dated but it's a solid truck from tennessee. Closest 2wd to ohio that had a rust free frame and body. Drip rails and mirrors are already shaved and airride parts are on order. First to do is rear step notch and bags then possibly a porterbuilt front end

Looks like a very solid start to a nice Blazer! I would certainly rather pay more initially and get a nicer one than get one cheap and have to fix a ton of stuff. Nice one! Good luck with the build

That is what I mean. I can tell you paid more than most would for a typical 2wd. I paid 4100 for mine when I started it 2.5 years ago. You will not regret that. Sounds and looks like a good value.

Yeah, I didn't mean any insult, it was kinda obvious you bought something already solid to put modern style on - and that's a great price. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Got a little more work done last night. Stripped the interior and man am I glad I bought a southern truck. Just a little surface rust on the floors. Started some cuts for the bed raise to make room for the step notch but I noticed it as midnight and the grinder and sawsall is a littleloud.
