Question about paint
I see alot of guys buff the original paint. They find ways to make the original paint super shiny. Even if you burn through in a few spots it still looks good. How is this accomplished? What do they use? I would like to do this to mine. I have dialed in the stance for now and I'm working in matching the paint in a few spots. Any advice would be appreciated. This forum always has all the answers.
Thanks |

Re: Question about paint
get a buffer, a wool pad and some compound. buff, repeat.
then foam pad and swirl remover. buff, repeat. then couple coats of wax.

Re: Question about paint
I just used Meguiars cleaner and then wax with a buffer and a lot of hand rubbing. Up close the you can see the thin spots and chips, but from a distance it looks like a fresh paint job.
