Changing rear tire on a 4 inch drop?
Will I be able to change my rear tire on my 64 when I lower the rear 4 inches? Will I have to raise the axle, and then raise the body up from the frame? Any pics of this being done?

You should still be able to as long as the wheel isn't extra wide w/a bunch of back-spacing.

No pics, but I need to do that with my Nova.
I use a truck jack under axle, and I carry a small bottle to raise up the body using the front leaf spring eye. At home I use two floor jacks. Nothing difficult about it, just get to know your lift points before you need to use them by the side of the road. Alex. |

I have a 4x4 about 2' long that I use. I use a floor jack, raise the truck up by the axle and place the 4x4 under the frame, let the jack dow a little and there I am able to remove the flat easily.
