heater dissamble

Im trying to rebuild my outer heater box. Ellen (Ellens c10) gave me 2 old boxes.1 was pretty clean, and just surface rust, and 1 looked like they took that pig straight from the assembly line to the south american rain forest, threw it in the brush. My problem is the clean one is busted 1 bolt hole at the bottom. The other 1 (lets call it the fungus box) is perfect. It was easy to get fungus box flapper out. It was rusted and just pulled out. The clean one looks like you could just punch it with a drift, but i dont want to screw it up! And mess up the rubber any worse. Any ideas?

Re: heater dissamble

take plenty of photo(s) and write down details w/ bagging all the item(s) ..

it can be confusing if you have never done one before ( as in a heater box assembly )

just take your time =0)
