steering wheel fitment

Will the steering wheel from a 2000 Jimmy (the mid-size style) fit on a 1970 Jimmy steering column?

Thanks!

Not sure. But I pulled my 1990's full size k5 wheel and put the original wheel on, and like it much more on the highway. Guess is depends on what steering ratio you have.

Re: steering wheel fitment

I asked a similar question about 8 months ago and got lots of great replies. I ended up putting on a wheel from a 94 Chev PU and it works great. There's a few steering wheel threads. Look em over.

Thinking of putting a 50 Chevy cab on a 76 Chev 4 WD pickup.

Re: steering wheel fitment

I saw a steering wheel picture thread and thought I wanted a wheel out of about an '88 pickup, but after driving my 2000 Jimmy again, I remembered how much a love that wheel and wanted to get one of those for my '70 if it fits.

I will check some of those threads too. Thanks!
