99% Complete 383...lots of pics..

Finishing up my 383. Getting pipes ran tomorrow. Have some cleaning up to do, a couple of brackets to hold some wires, tune the carb, and watch a few connections for leaks but almost there. Here's the build list of what I've done while the engine was out and of the engine work:

1. pulled and rebuilt column completely- painted column, wheel
2. put in LED gauge bulbs, sockets, new bezel and glass
3. new Wilwood MC, proportioning valve- bent my own NICOPP(copper over iron/nickel) lines- only down to front crossmember
4. new cs130 alt
5. new Nicopp tranny lines- bent myself
6. rebuilt 350 to 383 stroker, Holley ported heads, Holley Dominator intake, Holley ultra Avenger 670 cfm carb, noce Lunnati cam, all other high performance parts...
7. march pulleys
8. NICOPP fuel Line- bent myself
9. green powdercoated valve covers/breather
10. Doug Thorley tri-Y headers
11. rebuilt 350 tranny, strong shift, updated clutches
12. 2500 stall
13. much more but you get it...

Has 5.5 front drop, 6 drop rear
3:73 rear
all new panels-distressed

Please check out the pics..Cranked for 1st time 2 days ago and finally again tonight..runs great!

Sounds great

Wow! Very nice job. I like the green/silver scheme you've got going on.

Question: What kind of joints are those on your upper radiator hoses?

Thanks. I wanted the whole engine black/silver with a few green accents.

Those are Gates shrink clamps with super shrink covers on them. They work great and I hate the ugly worm clamps. You can see some of their small stuff around my carb--the small green fittings.

Go to hosecandy.com and check it out.

And if you mean the aluminum pipe in the hose, I just had a piece cut and flared and pieced it together with an upper hose.
