A/C bracket conversion

I am installing an 89 suburban TBI engine in my 69 GMC. I don't like the york a/c compressor and like to install a sanderson a/c compressor for better looks. Is there a bracket adapter to install the sanderson compressor on the york compressor bracket? Also, what is the best sanderson compressor type to use for my application? Appreciate the replies.

Re: A/C bracket conversion

Do you mean Sanden? I think Sanderson makes headers.

Re: A/C bracket conversion

The bracket in the picture looks like an R4 type. I think they look ok.

Yeah Sanden, thought it was a York compressor.

That is what my engine has right now. I don't want to change brackets, just not familiar with what I really need to make it happen

Re: A/C bracket conversion

Yeah I have the same serpentine system and a Sanden compressor and need the brackets too. I am about to start looking for them myself. I think you just need to use some small extension brackets on two of the Sanden Mounting holes and two line up. It just doesn't fit perfect in the cradle. A common swap though and there is a kit for it. I think Vintage air makes it and a couple others.
